Annyeonghaseyo! (That’s Hello! in Korean)
There are many K -Beauty products and few make it to the most popular list. Further, very few last for long on that list. Today, I will review one such product which has held its position for long as a cult favorite and deemed to be one of the most popular exfoliants/mask in South Korea.
The Black Sugar Cleansing line has :
Black Sugar Mask Wash Off
Black Sugar Strawberry Mask Wash Off (made of Strawberry seed oil)
Black Sugar Honey Mask Wash Off
Rice Mask Wash Off and
Coconut Sugar Mask Wash Off
A mask washes off featuring organic black sugar granules that exfoliate and nourish skin for a smooth, clean complexion.

HOW TO USE?
After cleansing, massage gently into damp skin, or mix with water/cosmetic water and apply. Avoid skin around the eyes and lips. After 10-15 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water.
The mask comes packed in a tub with an organic looking label (that sounds weird but yes, the label does give you a feel of an organic product). It comes with no spatula so you have to either get a separate one or make do with your fingers to scoop out.
You can see real sugar granules which is good as the sugar grains exfoliate skin very well. The smell is a bit citrus-like and reminds me of a cleaning agent my mom used in her kitchen! Many say they like the smell but I think it is just fine, though it does not linger after wash (which is a relief!)
I have used it around 7-8 times already and every time the results are the same. I apply it on damp face so it spreads easily. I generally massage it on for a minute or two and leave it on my face for 15 minutes. After washing, I dab it dry and my skin feels smooth and no trace of any rough skin. All the dry flakes disappear as well. I also notice that my skin brightens a little after the use.
Though one disappointing part is that, it does nothing to my whiteheads. I can still see them on my nose. Though the pores are not as visible as they were before the application, as a scrub, I still expected it to reduce the whiteheads. The product does not claim to reduce blackheads and whiteheads so I guess it is fine. So if you are looking for a scrub/ mask which will get rid of your blackheads and whiteheads, then this is not the one for you.
DOES IT STAND ITS CLAIM?

I wish it came with a spatula or an applicator.
